Surrounded by peaceful and tranquil countryside Casa Michele is to be found in the village of Santa Margarida in a secluded courtyard with a swimming pool, barbecue, a very pleasant garden the owners' accommodation.

Casa Michele is a two bedroomed cottage with a kitchen, living room, fully tiled shower/wc and a smaller second shower/wc. The main bathroom opens off the living room and has been converted to be fully accessible by wheelchair users.

Casa Michele has its own front door leading from the car parking area. The front verandah overlooks fields and hills and there are wonderful views all around.

Both the patio area by the front door and the patios in the courtyard are supplied with table and chairs and there are sun loungers are available for around the pool, which is 6.2m by 5.2m and 1.6m deep The pool is shared with the owners but they rarely use the pool when clients are in residence.

Not only does Casa Michele have two twin bedrooms, it also has two folding beds and can therefore accommodate up to 6 people.

There are ramps available for use at both front and back doors ofCasa Michele if needed by wheelchair users. The cottage has welcomed many disabled guests over the past few years, resulting in a number of changes to accommodate wheelchairs. To further help disabled guests, we have a shower wheelchair, commode and bedroom hoist available to rent on a weekly basis - if you'd like further info on these just email us.

Literally down the road from the cottage is a specialist rehabilitation centre which provides therapies and exercise treatments for disabled people - actually you can get a great massage there even if you're not disabled! Their website is www.theramax.co.uk.

For anyone wanting to get away from the rigours of the winter rain, sleet and snow, the Algarve has a much gentler climate - even the rain is warm!

Casa Michele is available throughout the year and those wishing to spend a a longer time here during the winter can get a really great deal. Electricity and gas for cooking is included in the price, the only extra is gas for heating.

The beaches at Albufeira, Vilamoura and Quarteira are only 20-30 kilometres away - that's about half an hour, and then there are the towns of old Messines, and Loulé in either direction.

In the surrounding hills you can see a wide variety of fruit growing at different times of the year - oranges, lemons, grapes, mangos, pomegranates and figs!

Winter - if you stay at least 4 weeks the price is just £100 a week plus heating.
